My booked parking space is occupied. What can I do?

Your booked parking space is occupied? Report the issue in the Peuka app with a photo and get a full refund of your booking once we have reviewed it.

If your booked parking space is occupied, report it directly in the Peuka app: open your booking, tap Report Issue and upload a photo of the other vehicle. Once we confirm your report, we refund the full booking amount. Report the issue right away on site, while your booking is still running.

How to report an occupied parking space in the app

  1. Open the booking for the occupied parking space in the Peuka app.

  2. Tap Report Issue.

  3. Briefly describe what's wrong and upload a photo that clearly shows the other vehicle and its licence plate. If you like, you can also enter the licence plate.

  4. Tap Report Issue to send your report.

Report the issue before you end your booking.

Do I get my money back if my parking space was occupied?

Yes, you get a refund of the full booking amount once we confirm your report. To do this, we review your report and your photo. The money goes back to the payment method you used for the booking, and we also reply to you by email.

My parking space is occupied and I still need somewhere to park. Where can I go?

Move to another parking space nearby if one is free. Please don't use other parking spaces at the same location, even if they look free: they may be booked by other users. Report the occupied space in the Peuka app via Report Issue in your booking.

I parked somewhere else and paid for it. Will these costs be refunded?

No. We refund the full amount of your Peuka booking once we confirm your report. We don't cover costs for parking elsewhere.

Someone else's car is parked in my space. Can I have it towed?

No, please don't have the vehicle towed. Instead, take a photo that clearly shows the vehicle and its licence plate, and upload it in the Peuka app via Report Issue in your booking. Your photo helps to follow up on the parking violation.

My parking space is occupied. Should I message the host first?

It's best to report the occupied space directly in the Peuka app via Report Issue in your booking. That way your report reaches us straight away and we can process your refund directly.

I can't find “Report Issue” in my booking. Why not?

You'll see Report Issue in a booking you made yourself, as long as the booking time hasn't ended yet. Once the booking time is over, you can no longer report an issue. If you have already reported it, you'll see Update Issue instead, as long as your report is still open.

I've already reported the occupied space. Can I add another photo?

Yes. Open your booking in the Peuka app and tap Update Issue. You can do this as long as your report is open and the booking time is still running.

I'm parking with a digital parking ticket in a public parking area and can't find a free space. Can I report that?

No, reporting an occupied space applies to booked private parking spaces. Public parking areas with a digital parking ticket can't be reserved, so no specific space is held for you there. You can find out how parking works there in the article “How do I park with Peuka in public parking areas?”.
