As a private host, you need three things for a payout: a successfully completed identity check, a saved bank account and available balance. You set all of this up in the app under “Profile” → “Finance”, or on the web under “Hosting & finance” → “Finance”. If any of these three is missing, Peuka can’t pay out your money.
What do I need for a payout?
Complete the identity check (KYC) – Confirm your identity with our payment service provider Mangopay: in a secure web process using an ID document and a selfie, in the app or on the web. This is legally required for all payment providers in the EU – not an internal Peuka decision. Without a completed check, your parking space also won’t be published; see “Why does Peuka require an identity check (KYC) for private hosts?” for more.
Add a bank account – Enter the account details your earnings should be transferred to.
Have an available balance – A payout can only happen once earnings are booked as available balance.
Where do I set this up?
In the app under “Profile” → “Finance”. On the web under “Hosting & finance” → “Finance”.
What is the additional security confirmation (SCA)?
Mangopay sometimes requests an additional security confirmation, for example during setup or right before a payout. This isn’t a separate, one-time step alongside the identity check – it can occur depending on the situation. The app redirects you there automatically whenever it’s needed.
When is my payout paid out?
Your payout is triggered automatically on the first calendar day of the month, provided you have enough available balance. This requires a confirmed identity (KYC) and a saved bank account.
Alternatively, you can trigger a payout manually at any time. It usually takes two to three business days.
What happens to my data from the identity check?
Your details from the identity check – including the selfie – are processed by our partner Mangopayonly for as long and to the extent required for the legally mandated check. See our privacy policy for details.
My payout isn’t working. What could be the reason?
Check these three things under “Finance”: Is your identity confirmed (KYC completed)? Is a bank account saved? Is a balance available? If any of these is missing, a payout can’t happen.
My payout shows as “triggered”, but the money isn’t in my account yet. What’s going on?
That’s normal. A triggered payout is usually in your account within two to three business days.
